Charting your Path

The College of Applied Health Sciences is committed to the success of every student in our programs. There are a variety of ways that you can become involved and we hope that you will take advantage of every opportunity. The College’s advising program is an outstanding way to ensure that you are on track and meeting the goals that you have set out to achieve. Whether you are already involved in the College through research, student organizations, the James Scholar Program or the Mannie L. Jackson Illinois Academic Enrichment and Achievement Program (I-LEAP) or you are seeking to find new opportunities, the staff in the College is here to support your journey. Over sixty percent of the students in the College have been involved in some type of practical experience related to their major. Over half of all graduating seniors have been involved in research with faculty or have been involved in volunteer opportunities related to their major. Everything you need to succeed is right at your fingertips. As you navigate these pages, we encourage you to take advantage of the many resources and opportunities that you find.
